Housekeeper - Marlboro, NJ
Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking a professional and experienced housekeepers for our client, a luxury assisted living community with a Memory Care Unit in Marlboro, NJ. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in healthcare or residential cleaning, speak English fluently, and maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM (includes 15 min. paid break + 30 min. unpaid lunch)
- 2-Day Orientation: 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Day 1 - fully virtual, conducted on-site | Day 2 - Half-day virtual, followed by hands-on training with managers. Lunch is provided on both days.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Clean/disinfect common areas, resident apartments, and restrooms
- Begin each shift by cleaning common areas (resident rooms cleaned later in the day)
- Use assigned cleaning cart and follow community cleaning protocols
- Follow infection control and safety standards
- Remain alert when working in the Memory Care Unit—some residents may attempt to leave the building
- Work as part of a 3-person housekeeping team, including a lead housekeeper
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience in housekeeping within healthcare/residential settings
- Fluent English speaker
- Professional appearance
- Must wear black pants and closed-toe sneakers (uniform shirt provided)
- Comfortable working around elderly residents, including those with memory impairment
