Housekeeper

Housekeeper - Marlboro, NJ

Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking two professional and experienced housekeepers for our client, a luxury assisted living community with a Memory Care Unit in Marlboro, NJ. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in healthcare or residential cleaning, speak English fluently, and maintain a polished, professional appearance.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
• Hours: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (includes 15 min. paid break + 30 min. unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Clean/disinfect common areas, resident apartments, and restrooms
• Begin each shift by cleaning common areas (resident rooms cleaned later in the day)
• Use assigned cleaning cart and follow community cleaning protocols
• Follow infection control and safety standards
• Remain alert when working in the Memory Care Unit—some residents may attempt to leave the building
• Work as part of a 3-person housekeeping team, including a lead housekeeper

Requirements:

• Experience in housekeeping within healthcare/residential settings
• Fluent English speaker
• Professional appearance
• Must wear black pants and closed-toe sneakers (uniform shirt provided)
• Comfortable working around elderly residents, including those with memory impairment
