School Paraprofessional (2025-2026 School Year)

We are seeking qualified paraprofessionals in Bridgeton, NJ for the current 2025-2026 school year. The open positions range between aiding students in the classroom setting to assisting the classroom teacher. Paraprofessionals will boost student growth and independence while maximizing academic performance and help ensure smooth classroom operations. Ideal candidates must be comfortable working with students of special needs, general education, and assisting in different classrooms as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Per diem subbing and on-going assignments available

Hours:

• Approximately 8:30am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Assist students in daily living activities and behavior management as needed
• Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, and/or on field trips
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans
• Assist in classroom set up, clean up, and/or other administrative responsibilities
• Assist classroom teacher with general classroom functions
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have experience in a relatable position
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma (required); or
• An Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred); or
• Some completion of study at an institution of higher learning (preferred)
