Position Overview
Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking 2-3 Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) with their New Jersey School Social Worker Certification to support students in Elizabeth, NJ. This role focuses on supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating with school staff, families, and community resources. This position is ideal for social workers who are passionate about supporting student mental health, providing counseling services, and helping families access appropriate resources in a school setting.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and short-term counseling to students
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Facilitate student support groups as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and school support staff
- Participate in Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) meetings
- Serve as a member of the school crisis response team
- Connect students and families with community and social service resources
- Conduct outreach programs and workshops for parents and guardians
- Maintain confidential and accurate student records
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
- New Jersey School Social Worker Certification required
- Experience working with schools, youth services, or social service agencies preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Must pass required criminal background check
