Kean University Speech Language Pathology Program
Kean University located in Union, New Jersey, offers a 63-credit master’s speech language pathologist program. This program prepares students to work with individuals who have a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, voice, fluency, cognition and swallowing issues. The master’s program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing association. Monmouth University Speech Language Pathology Program
Monmouth University offers both an undergraduate minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) and the Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Montclair State University Speech Language Pathology Program
Montclair State University offers both a minor in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Students who complete the master’s program are prepared to work as clinicians in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, and private practices. Graduates of the master’s program will be eligible for licensure in New Jersey and for Certification by the Council on Clinical Certification of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association under the 2020 certification standards.

Stockton University offers a 63-credit master’s program for speech language pathology. The mission of the Master of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders Program is to prepare students for New Jersey Licensure and for certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in speech-language pathology, as well as for certification as Speech-Language Specialists by the New Jersey Department of Education; to demonstrate the principles of evidence-based practice; to provide opportunities for continuing education; and to provide direct clinical services to the surrounding community. The College of New Jersey Speech Language Pathology Program
The College of New Jersey offers a bachelor’s degree and a bachelor’s/masters degree program where freshman will receive a bachelor’s degree in speech language pathology from TCNJ and a masters degree from the Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences of Thomas Jefferson University within 6 years. Students receive exposure to content relevant to practice for all populations, including medically-based practice, supporting individuals across the lifespan, and working outside of one’s culture and/or language.

William Paterson University Speech Language Pathology Program
William Paterson University offers both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in speech language pathology. The undergraduate program in speech-language pathology provides students with the fundamental knowledge related to typical and atypical communication processes across the lifespan. The MS program in speech-language pathology prepares students for careers so that they can provide competent and evidence-based service to individuals with communication disorders, across the lifespan. Graduates of the MS program meet the academic and clinical education standards established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and licensing/certification requirements of New Jersey. The graduate program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
