School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Horizon Staffing Resources is searching for Speech Pathologists (SLPs) in Clark, NJ!

Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a Pre-K classroom team in Clark, NJ. In this role, you will support young learners with speech, language, and communication needs while collaborating closely with educators and support staff to help students meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Location: Clark, NJ

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:30am-3:15pm

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educationally relevant IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with teachers and support staff
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet each student’s needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including reports and service records
• Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and school-based clinics
• Communicate regularly with families/guardians and child study team case managers
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with teachers, classroom aides, and related service providers

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
• Valid New Jersey SLP License (Required)
• BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
• Criminal History/Fingerprint Clearance (Required)
• School-based experience (Preferred)
