Horizon Staffing Resources is hiring a compassionate and reliable 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a student in a school setting in Highland Park, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a daily impact while building experience in special education.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 student support throughout the school day
- Assist with academics, transitions, and daily routines
- Support mobility needs and vocational tasks
- Monitor student safety, engagement, and health needs
- Promote independence, dignity, and positive behavior
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (required)
- Experience with children or special needs preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain BOE fingerprinting
