Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking qualified paraprofessionals in Livingston, Newark, and Verona NJ. The positions available range from daily substitute coverages to Monday to Friday scheduled in-class support services with special needs students. The role of the paraprofessionals will be to aid students in academics, daily living activities, and behavioral management. The ideal candidates will have previous paraprofessional or relatable experience with children, preferably those with special needs.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, standard school hours.
- Hours dependent on school setting.
Responsibilities

- Assist with academics, transitions, and daily routines
- Support mobility needs and vocational tasks
- Monitor student safety, engagement, and health needs
- Promote independence, dignity, and positive behavior
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (required)
- Experience with children or special needs preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain BOE fingerprinting
