2025-2026 1:1 PARAPROFESSIONALS – Middlesex County, NJ

Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking qualified paraprofessionals in Middlesex County, NJ for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The positions available are in a 1:1 a school setting, working in the classroom with one student to help in academics, daily life skills, and all other related tasks. The paraprofessional will boost student growth and independence while maximizing academic performance. Must be comfortable working with a student of special needs.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, hours depend on school and/or classroom placement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students
• Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Assist student in daily living activities and behavior management
• Supervise student in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, and/or on field trips
• Support student with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have experience in a relatable position
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education.

Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma (required); or
• An Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred); or
• Some completion of study at an institution of higher learning (preferred)
