Looking to begin or expand your teaching career? Horizon Staffing Resources has an exciting opportunity for Inclusion Special Education Teachers in Bridgeton, NJ!
We’re looking for four (4) Special Education Teachers to join our team of education superheroes! The Special Education Teachers will work with children in an Inclusion classroom, serving students with and without special needs. The teachers will work closely with a general education teacher to ensure collaborative learning between general education and special education students.
The Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Kindergarten: 8:30am to 3:30pm
- 3rd Grade: 8:30am to 3:30pm
- 5th Grade: 8:00am to 3:00pm
- 6th to 8th Grade: 7:45am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities
The Responsibilities:
- Curriculum: create lessons based on student IEPs related to functional academics (reading, writing, everyday math) and social skills
- Behavior Management: implement strategies to support positive student behavior and address any behavioral challenges
- Communication: communicate with parents, general education teachers, and other support staff regarding student progress and needs
- Environmental Inclusion: foster a classroom culture where all students feel valued, respected, and have opportunities to participate
- Collaboration: work with general education teachers to co-teach, adapt lessons, and provide in-class support

What’s Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with passing Praxis Exam
- NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification
