Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time
Location: Pequannock, NJ
Schedule: 2 Days per Week (10–12 Hours Weekly)
Work Hours: Flexible Between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $60 per Hour
Assignment: '25-'26 School Year
Job Summary: Horizon Staffing Resources is actively recruiting a school based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work part-time in Pequannock, NJ. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a motivated and compassionate SLP who enjoys working in school-based settings.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services across two school buildings: a middle school and a preschool
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student development
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in compliance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist License
- NJ DOE Speech Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Ability to travel between two buildings as needed
